Jamshedpur: Miscreants created a ruckus at Green Park Basti under Kadma police station on Sunday. Stones were pelted at the house of a driver named Amit , who lives in Basti. Some women of the house were also injured in stone pelting. Amit has suffered serious injuries in the assault. When the police reached the spot after getting information about the incident, all the miscreants fled from there.
Amit’s wife Mamuni has accused the youths of Baghe Basti of creating a ruckus. She said that 20 to 30 youths of Baghe Basti beat up and pelted stones. Amit has made a written complaint against the miscreants in the police station. Mamuni said that a dance class is run by some youths of Baghe Basti near their house. On Sunday some young men and girls were dancing there. When they requested them not to dance, the youth started abusing him. When the husband came to protest, the youths beat him up too. After some time, about 30 youths reached near the house and started pelting stones. Some women of the house were injured in stone pelting.
