Medical tourism will be promoted in Jharkhand: CM


    Ranchi, Nov. 7: Unveiling the symbol of Constant Liven’s Academy of Health Science & Hospital’ at Mandar here, on Saturday, Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das said that the state health policy will be ready in three months.

    It will promote medical in Jharkhand and develop the state as a medical hub, in addition to accelerating medical tourism in the state and creating employment.

    He said that next year RIMS will also be a well equipped as super specialty hospitals like the AIIMS. Nurses in all districts of the state will be trained to inculcate ‘Sarva Dharma Sambhav.’

    Mr. Das said that religion means ‘to assume’. He said that ways of prayer may vary, but the essence of all religions is the same. He said that Jharkhand is the land of honourable Budhu Bhagat and opening a hospital on this land is a sacred work. He thanked the missionaries for their pious intention to serve the people.

    Appealing to the agitating doctors, he said that they should not lag behind in serving people. He said that a medical officer will get his leave granted from the Civil Surgeon and a panchayat-level doctor from the medical officer. The headman will only inform in case a doctor doesn’t come.

    CBCI President Cardinal Basils Climes, Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo, Mandar MLA Mrs. Gangotri Kujoor, Hatia MLA Mr. Navin Jaisawal and other people were present at the programme.
