Maoist violence decreased in Jharkhand owing to police valor: Rajnath Singh

    Ranchi, June 27: Inaugurating Jharkhand Jaguar Administrative Building, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Naxal and Maoist violence have decreased in the state due to the velour and commitment of the police forces.

    Our forces sacrifice their lives for the sake of motherland. Praising the work done by Jharkhand Jaguar, he said that Jharkhand government has the ardor to work for the poor, farmers and development. The government aspires to work in every field.

    Referring the state government led aforestation drive as a good initiative, the Union Home Minister said that the state will develop in the years to come. He said that SIS (special infrastructure scheme) is revived.  He said that the state should get free from insurgency and Maoist violence.

    Chief Minister Raghuabr Das said that the state government is committed to uproot insurgency and Maoist violence from the state.

    He praised Jharkhand Jaguar for performing a remarkable job in providing security in remote areas of the state and said that Jharkhand Jaguar has uprooted insurgency in Saranda, Parasnath, Jhumra and other places.

    He said it while addressing people after having inaugurated Jaguar Administrative Building and other buildings at Tendergram.  

    Das said that insurgency blocks all roads to development, but the government is committed for peace, development and harmony. He said that basic infrastructure, connecting roads and barracks etc. will be built by the government for Jaguar. He paid his homage at Martyr Memorial.

    Jharkhand education minister Neera Yadav, Ranchi MP Ram Tahal Choudhary, MLAs Jeetu Charan Ram, Anant Ojha, chief secretary Rajbala Verma, DGP D. K. Pandey, additional chief secretary, Home, N. N. Pandey along with officers and police personnel of Jaguar were present on this occasion.
