Ranchi: Expressing concern over the lynching of a woman in Mirnagar village in Sahebganj after being branded a �braid-chopper�, Chief Minister Raghubar Das termed the incident as unfortunate.
Appealing to the people of the state to maintain harmony and peace, the CM said no one should take law in their hands. He said the people should not pay heed to rumours.
He asked the state authorities concerned to take strict action against the culprits of the lynching incident. He announced that the state government would bear the expenses of bringing up and educating the 14 year old son of the deceased.
