Jamshedpur, Jan 19: Ahan Roy of Little Flower School emerged winner of 31st Inter School Seuli Seal Memorial quiz contest hosted virtually by D.B.M.S. English School on January 19, 2022.
Ahan Roy secured 65 points followed by Aditya Kumar of Hill Top School (50 points) and Shaili Kauntia of DBMS Kadma High School (25 points).
The quiz comprised four rounds. The students were quizzed on a wide array of subjects wherein they had to exercise their wits. The top two participants battled it out for the top spot with the stronger emerging the winner. It was truly an infotainment quiz which was enjoyed by both the participants and the audience.
Quiz master for the day was Vinay Mudaliar, a quiz master of repute and founder of Mindcogs, a prominent quiz, which believes in spreading knowledge in an engaging way.
This quiz was open to students of Std V and VI. 22 schools participated in the preliminary round where their knowledge was tested over a wide spectrum.
Earlier, eight schools qualified for the finals-DBMS Kadma High School, Hill Top School, Sri Krishna Public School, Vidya Bharathi Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Little Flower School, AIWC Academy of Excellence, Chinmaya Vidlaya South Park and Gulmohar High School.
This quiz was initiated by Rekha Seal, in loving memory of her daughter, Seuli, a student of DBMS English School, whom we tragically lost on 3rd March, 1989. The Oxford University Press lent support in arranging the event.
