Jusco School South Park launches mobile app

    Jamshedpur, Sep. 2 : JUSCO School South Park (JSSP) on Friday launched an exclusive mobile app ‘JUSCO School South Park’ in an attempt to bridge the communication gap between parents and school.

    The launch session of the JSSP mobile app held in the school premises was graced by the presence of A.F. Madon, Administrator, JEM Foundation, Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager, JEM Foundation and other school managing committee members.

    Mili Sinha, Acting Principal, JSSP, School Coordinators Gurmeet Kaur and Gurpreet Singh along with the Principals & vice Principals of various JEM Schools were also present on this occasion.

    Addressing the gathering after the launch, A.F. Madon, said, with the implementation of this unique app JSSP parents can view the complete student profile, daily attendance, homework, project, examination results, fee details, notifications/ circulars/ announcements.

    Instant SMS alert will be sent to parents for holidays, exam dates, activities and other notifications.

    Apart from the app parents can also login to http://www.parentsalarm.com to use various features of the app. Through their user ID / password they can also download the e-content uploaded by School.

    This e-content includes audio, video, pdf & powerpoint presentations related to scholastic & co- scareas as well as activities of the school. Parents can now get photos of school events through the e-content. Students can also access their Report Card through their Login ID on http://www.parentsalarm.com’, he added.

    Madon further said that the launched mobile app is a two way interactive app in which the students and parents can clarify their issues/queries using the feature Write to School.

    He mentioned that JEM Foundation has partnered with Infogem Web Solutions Pvt Ltd. from Chennai to develop this Android app and ERP Package to digitise all processes of JUSCO School South Park.

    According to him, the implementation of this package in other JEM Schools is also in pipeline.
    Rajeev Kumar Deo, Zonal Sales Head and Client Support Executives, Ram Kumar and Asmit Kumar from Infogem Software were also present to explain the key features of the app.

    Mili Sinha, Acting Principal, JSSP, thanked Ruchi Narendran, Managing Trustee, JEM Foundation and A. F. Madon, Administrator , JEM Foundation for providing this unique platform to connect to the parents .

    She also mentioned that app will be very helpful in controlling the indiscipline issues like bunking of classes as the school can now send the instant absenteeism alert to the parents.
