JSCA pays tribute to life member Vinay Kumar

Jamshedpur, Sep 7: A condolence meeting was organized at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi and Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur to pay tributes to life member of Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Late Vinay Kumar Singh on his sudden demise, on Tuesday, September 7.

JSCA officials and members observed two-minute silence and prayed for the peace of the departed soul and for the strength of his family members.

Expressing grief at the death of Vinay Kumar Singh, Amitabh Choudhary said, Vinay Kumar Singh was a good cricketer as well as an able administrator. As a cricketer he played VG Trophy (EZ), Patna District and Patna University in 1970s. As Administrator, he served in MECON and HEC. While working in HEC, he gave his valuable support in the construction of JSCA International Stadium, which can never be forgotten. JSCA Vice President Ajay Nath Shahdeo said death of Vinay Kumar Singh is an irreparable loss to the JSCA family.

Secretary Sanjay Sahay said, Vinay Kumar Singh played cricket for Ranchi district along with MECON while he was working with the company. In the condolence meet members of the association, men and women cricket of Jharkhand, selectors and stadium employees paid floral tributes to Vinay Kumar Singh.
