JPS: Snehil Raj bags Best All Rounder Student’ Award


    Jamshedpur, July 13: The ‘Annual Prize Night’ of the primary block of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) was held at the school premises on Tuesday. Immediate past president of Rotary Club Sonal Agrawal, graced was the chief guest on the occasion.

    The program began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, AIWC Schools’ Coordinator Alaknanda Bakshi, school secretary Sreeparna Ghosh, treasurer Varsha Gandhi and principal Namita Agarwal.

    The students from Nursery to Std. V received prizes for their achievements and other activities. The most awaited prize for the evening – ‘Best All Rounder student’ of primary block was awarded to Snehil Raj of Std. IV A.

    The Leadership Award was bagged by Satyam Pandey. Most Talented Student Award was presented to Abhinav Mehta, while Om Shaswat received the Outstanding Analytical Temperament Award.

    This year, 10 students of JPS qualified for the JEE (Advance) 2016. These super achievers were also awarded during this award ceremony as they would be leaving for college soon.

    The awardees included Anant Prakash,  Rajat Jha, Ravi Ranjan, Ankit Kumar, Sachin Hansda, Kaushal Kr yadav, Shubhojit Choudhary, Sumit Prakash, Shiwani Kumari and Gaurav Kumar.

    The award ceremony was followed by a cultural program presented by the students. They put up a vibrant western dance and a folk dance for the audience.

    The program ended with the chief guest’s speech, who praised the students for excelling in academics and motivated them to continue to win laurels and to keep the JPS flag flying high.

    The school song was sung by the students and teachers.
