Jamshedpur, Aug 10:  Rakhi heralds joy and symbolizes the sanctity of brother-sister relationship. The Rakhi thread not only reasserts this emotional bond where a brother pledges to protect his sister and be with her through thick and thin but also signifies a very special festival that is celebrated to propagate the human spirit of love care and protection.

Social worker and renowned cinema starlet Madhuri Dixit’s fan, Pappu Sardar visited the Cheshire Home at Sundernagar to spread joy among the less fortunate residents to whom this place is an abode gifted by God. The spirit of joy was infectious as the Sisters and the children celebrated the occasion as soon as Pappu Sardar landed in the Cheshire home premises with a bonanza of celebratory gifts. He cut a cake with the inmates and Sisters and offered lip-smacking delicacies which the children accepted gleefully.

As is usual with his visits to the Cheshire Home, Pappu organized music and dance that was infectious from the word ‘go.’ He distributed gifts among the inmates including the Sisters. He took his leave after spreading lingering joy at the Cheshire Home.
