Scribes donate 134 units of blood


    Jamshedpur: Journalists of Jamshedpur organized a blood donation camp at Red Cross Society in Sakchi on Tuesday, September 10 which helped collect 134 units of blood. The camp was jointly inaugurated by the guests present on the occasion, the list included District Commissioner and President of Red Cross Dr. Amitabh Kaushal, SSP Richard Lakra, Chief Commanding Officer of Army Colonel Devendra Pandey, Commandant of RAF Seema Talia, Second Commandant of RAF Apurva, MLA Banna Gupta and Social Worker PN Das.

    On the side line of the camp President of Anima Das Memorial Charitable Trust and Social Worker PN Das donated two water coolers to the Red Cross Society. The program was hosted by Secretary of Red Cross, Vijay Kumar Singh. Total of 134 units of blood was collected during the camp.

    The dignitaries present at the camp included Mountaineer Premlata Agrawal, Beli Bodhanwala, Prabhakar Singh, Pradeep Balmuchu, Ravindra Jha, Amarpreet Singh kale, Saryu rai, Raghubar das, Swetabh Suman, Firoz Khan, Vimal Agrawal, Udit Agrawal, Suresh Sonthalia, Vikas Singh and several others were present.

    Headed by Joint Secretary of Red Cross Arijit Sarkar, Red Cross Society and Jamshedpur Blood bank made for a successful blood do0nation camp
