Journalism to play important role in Make in India’ : IPRD Director


    Ranchi, July 16: Referring to different flagship plans of central & state Govt., the Information & Public Relation Department Director Awadhesh Kumar Pandey said that ‘Make in India’ program will be successful by promoting journalism.

    He laid stress at the positive role of journalism in the development of the nation. He was addressing a workshop on Skill Development on the second day of first World Youth Skill Day Programme at Community Hall of Forest Department.

    Referring to writing & research work regarding promotion of Skill Development, Director of Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Mr. R. P. Singh said that the mission is ready to help any new experiment.

    Inspiring the new journalists to conduct new experiments, Media Counselor Dr. Vishnu Rajgarhia advised them to ensure their role in the development of the nation.

    On this occasion, Tele- Communication faculty of Central University, Roopa Kumari, Govind kumar Jha of Ranchi Doordarshan & Coordinator of Jharkhand Panchayat Mahila Research Center, Mr. Rajeev Bhardwaj also expressed their views. In the mean time , a workshop was conducted on National Skills Quality Framework .

    In order to promote Skill Development program, promotion & mobilization of the program was done at Brambe Panchayat through Skill Training Awareness Vehicle.

    Under this program, , promotion & mobilization of Skill Development program will be done at Khunti Bazar on 17 July, at Ormanjhi on 18 July, at Mandar on 19 July & at Bundu on 20 July through Skill Training Awareness Vehicle.

    On the third day of the program, workshop will be conducted on Women Empowerment & Skill Development along with Recognition of Prior Learning.
