Jharkhand will introduce a separate policy for MSMEs: CM

Jamshedpur, March 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday said that his government is committed towards growth and development of the state.

He mentioned that the government has focused on four major areas such as IT, agriculture, industry and tourism. He also pointed out that �Ease of Doing Business� has been initiated to do away with bureaucracy and to allow industries to flourish.

Das further mentioned that his government will act as a facilitator for smooth operation of industry. Addressing a gathering at CII�s Ninth �Enterprise Jharkhand 2016� at the Gopal Maidan here on Sunday, Das also announced that the government is coming up with a separate policy on MSMEs and will also bring forward major incentives for the mega projects in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, S. K. Behera , chairman, MSME Sub-Committee, CII Eastern Region, highlighted the role of MSMEs in the growth and development of the country. He also pointed out that the MSME sector is an employment generating sector and also helps in facilitating the growth and development of the region.

Behera also extended his gratitude for the proactive role of the state government in addressing industry issues and policy matters related to �Ease of Doing Business.�

T.V. Narendran, deputy chairman, CII Eastern Region, and managing director, Tata Steel, highlighted the various initiatives of CII at the regional level. He also congratulated the state government for proactively addressing the concerns industry and providing a favourable environment for industries.

Narendran also proposed that �Destination Jharkhand� can also promote the state as a tourist destination amongst other states.

A.B. Lall, chairman, CII Jharkhand, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Minster, while Tarun Daga, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Jharkhand, delivered the Theme Address for the session and outlined the significance of the industry exhibition.

The Ninth �Enterprise Jharkhand 2016,� which is scheduled from March 11 to 15 at the Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur, was visited by Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday.

Enterprise Jharkhand 2016 is an industry and technology fair encompassing various sectors relevant to sustainable economic growth. The five-day program will enable large, medium and small enterprises search opportunities for business co-operation and joint ventures.

The Theme for this year is �Build Jharkhand-Driving Development.� The exhibition, therefore, endeavors to maximize opportunities for entrepreneurs in Jharkhand.

The exhibition will include product displays and advertising, industry related information, focused business presentations and discussions, networking between industry and suppliers, new developments and technological innovations, live demonstrations, interactions between users and manufactures, and buyer seller meets for business leads.

Anand Utilities Pvt Ltd, a city based company, has launched their new venture, http://www.IndusProc.com, the next generation online platform for industrial procurement, at the Enterprise Jharkhand 2016.
