Jamshedpur, Jan 17: Six players of the Jharkhand Tennikoit team were selected to represent the state at the Sub Junior National Tennikoit Championship to be held in Andhra Pradesh. The state Sub Junior team will be led by Rahil Azam Khan. The players were selected on the basis of their performance during a trial and training camp organized by Jharkhand Tennikoit Association (JTA). Players of Jharkhand Tennikoit team have been selected for the Sub-Junior National Tennikoit Championship which is to be held in Andhra Pradesh. Six players were selected during the trial and training camp organized under the aegis of Jharkhand Tennikoit Association. Coach Sahabuddin informed that the players selected were P Yogesh , Harsh Tiwari , Rahil Azam Khan, Pratyush, Farasat and Ayush on the basis of their overall good performance. Rishank Kumar Singh will be the team manager. JTA authorizes were hopeful that the Tennikoit team would perform well as it did during the last occasion and bring in more medals. Those present at the time of players’ selection included JTA Secretary Ali Raza Khan, Aslam Malik, Singo Tudu and others.
