Ranchi, September 5: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various power transmission projects of Jharkhand Urja Sanchar Nigam Limited (JUSNL) from the new auditorium of Project Bhawan, Ranchi on Monday.
Garhwa based Bhagodih sub-station will be inaugurated on this occasion. At the same time, the foundation stone of the grid sub-stations of Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur will be laid. The above information was given by the principal secretary, energy Department, Avinash Kumar.
According to Avinash Kumar the 132/33 KV Grid sub-station of Bhagodih in Garhwa would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. The capacity of this sub-station is 100 MVA (2×50 MVA). The sub-station has been built at a cost of Rs 26.74 Crore and areas in the district like Makri, Pandariya, Buka, Garda, Saraiya, Arsali etc. will be benefited by this project.
Foundation stone will be laid for 100-100 MVA capacity sub-station in Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur.
The principal secretary informed that the foundation stone of 132/33 KV Grid sub-station of Bhavnathpur/ Nagaroontari in Garhwa and 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Chhatarpur in Palamu would be laid by the Chief Minister. The capacity of the above two sub-stations is 100 MVA (2×50 MVA) whereas the cost of the sub-station to be constructed at Bhawanathpur is Rs.38.07 crore. At the same time, the cost of the sub-station to be built in Chhatarpur is Rs 53.23 crore.
