Ranchi, Oct 21: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday gave indications of state government intentions of large scale filling up of vacancies in government departments.
Chairing a meeting of the Personnel Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha department Hemant Soren directed the officials to take necessary steps to remove the discrepancies in the recruitment policy. He asked the officials to ensure better coordination between Personnel Administrative Reforms Rajbhasha department, other departments, Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) so that appointment process can be speeded. He said that recruitment in the departments should not be left pending.
The chief minister said that it is the intention of the state government to create as much job as possible for the youth and the recruitment process should not be pending at any level. The chief minister categorically said that within a fixed time frame the pending recruitments have to be completed therefore the officials should develop a better plan so that within a fixed time limit the desired results can be obtained.
He categorically asked the departments to remove all the obstacles and discrepancies in the recruitment policy and publish the advertisement for appointments in different departments.
Hemant Soren said all the departments should ensure that the changes which have been made in appointments policy in category three and four jobs by the Personnel Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha department should be followed by all the other departments as this will allow more opportunities for the youth of the state and the vacant posts in the different departments will be also filled immediately.
The chief minister directed for removing discrepancies in the appointment and service conditions rules by 31 October 2021.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that before 31 October 2021, all the departments should publish advertisements by removing all the discrepancies in the rules related to appointment / service conditions.
