Ranchi, July 25: Reviewing the weekly complaints registered with Jan Samvad, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal today ordered to sack Gautam Kumar, the then block program officer of Amrapara, Pakur and send him to jail in connection with scamming Rs 5 lakh MGNREGA fund for digging a pond. He directed to lodge a certificate case on him to recover the funds and sack him from office. An FIR has been lodged in this regard. A total of 11 complaints were reviewed on this occasion and officers were directed to do the needful. IPRD Director Ram Lakhan Prasad Gupta was also present on this occasion.

With respect to encroachment of rayyati land of Chandra Kala Devi, Barnwal said to depute a magistrate and remove the encroachment in 15 days. Listening to another complaint, the Sec directed to increase the height of electric wire (11,000 volts) at Kashida village, East Singhbhoom and install guard wire as a house is made under it. It was also directed to send a notice to the panchayat how the house is being built under electric wire of 11,000 volts.

In connection with missing of FCI fourth grade staff Gopal Prasad of East Singhbhoom since 30th August, 2016, Barnwal directed the DSP to present the development report himself after each fortnight. He also directed the nodal officers of Woman, Child Development and Social Security Dept. and PDS to intimate their respective principal secretaries about the problems faced by them in sorting out the complaints registered with Jan Samvad so that they can put forth the matter before the CM in the next Sidhi Baat Program.

Barnwal gave time to the nodal officers of East Singhbhoom, Godda and Pakur to improve their performances as it is not up to mark. Despite warning, the performance of Godda did not improve. Barnwal asked the nodal officer to intimate the DC to tell the CM in next Sidhi Baat program why the complaints registered with district were not sorted out timely.
