Jamshedpur: The sixth edition of Jam@Streets organised as a part of the ongoing Jamshedpur Fest spread the message of �It�s Smart to be Safe�.
Safe Club in association with six schools, Motilal Nehru Public School, Kasidih High School, Dayanand Public School, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Kerala Samajam Model School and ADLS Sunshine School used the occasion to educate people on the importance of safety. Ruchi Narendran, chairperson of Safe Club, was also present.
Along with dancing, singing and skit, school students not only entertained the participants but also gave messages about safety. The Jam@Street witnessed a crowd of over 10,000 people.
Students of Kerala Samajam Model School showcased a small skit spreading the importance of responsibility in making the city safe.
The ADLS Sunshine School presented a dance and yoga based on the theme- �stop, look, listen�. Students not only performed songs but also yoga.
This was the second time that city schools divided into zones got together and put up this awareness programme.
The Jam@Streets also witnessed the sports corner The art corner was as usual where artists painted live on canvases apart from Purulia Chhau, zumba corner, talent hunt and health check-ups.
Jam@Streets Day had sporting events like roller skating, badminton, basketball, yoga, cycling, aerobics, golf and much more. Together with games, there will be rock bands adding to the Sunday euphoria with selfie corner, street painting, magic show, dandiya, etc.
The usual busy Bistupur Main Road wore a festive look as people from different walks of life participated in it.
Jam@Streets day is akin to a street festival with goodies which can be indulged in by the whole family.
It has sporting events like roller skating, badminton, basketball, yoga, cycling, aerobics, golf, Carrom, Aerobics and much more., said an official of Jusco, the main organiser of the event.
