Jamshedpur, March 8: Dr Mohammad Riyaz assumed charge as the fifth principal of Karim City College on Tuesday. A grand welcome was accorded to him on behalf of the school teachers, staff and students.
In his address, Dr Riyaz said he wished to take the college to newer heights with the cooperation of one and all. He joined Karim City College as a Geography faculty member in the year 1990. Since then, he has rendered his services on various important academic posts in the institution.
Dr Anwar Shahab, secretary of the college teachers’ association, said a new chapter was going to begin under the leadership of the new principal.
