Jamshedpur, Nov 17: Three COVID-19 deaths were reported in Jamshedpur on Tuesday, November 17 while 21 new positive cases were recorded. 64 people recovered of the virus in a single day on Tuesday, November 17 as recovery rate climbed to 96%.
Coronavirus positive cases in Jamshedpur reached 16457 with 21 new cases reported on November 17. The death toll climbed to 367 with three deaths reported in East Singhbhum district on Tuesday.
64 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 15717 while active cases in Jamshedpur have climbed below 400 mark. Active cases in Jamshedpur are 373.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 126824 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96 % while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 350894 samples have been collected out of which 337606 have been tested and 321149 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, the state has achieved yet another milestone in its battle against Coronavirus as on Tuesday the total number of active cases of Covid-19 came below 2700 mark. Active cases in the state stand at 2669.
On the other hand the Coronavirus tally in the state on Tuesday reached 1,06,491 as 261 new cases of Covid-19 were detected across the state. During the day 3 deaths were reported including 3 in East Singhbhum as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 931.
The recovery rate in Jharkhand is 96.61 % while the mortality rate is 0.87 %.
