Jamshedpur’s COVID-19 recovery rate surges to 95%, active cases below 500

Jamshedpur, Nov 15: In some good news as far as Jamshedpur’s Covid-19 scenario is concerned, one COVID-19 death was recorded while 98 people recovered of the virus in a single day on Sunday, November 15 as recovery rate climbed to 95%.    

Jamshedpur reported 12 positive cases while 98 people recovered of the virus on Sunday.

Coronavirus positive cases in Jamshedpur reached 16404 with 12 new cases reported on November 15. The death toll climbed to 364 with one death reported in East Singhbhum district on Sunday.

98 people recovered of the virus on Sunday taking the total recovery to 15599 while active cases in Jamshedpur have climbed below 500 mark. Active cases in Jamshedpur are 441.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 125319 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 95 % while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.

So far in Jamshedpur 347617 samples have been collected out of which 333598 have been tested and 317194 have turned out to be negative.

Earlier on the day of Diwali, 24 people were infected of the virus while 114 people recovered of the virus while one death was reported.

On the other hand, the state has achieved yet another milestone in its battle against Coronavirus as on Sunday the total number of active cases of Covid-19 came below 3000 mark. Active cases in the state stand at 2952 mark.

On the other hand the Coronavirus tally in the state on Sunday reached to 1,06,064 as 129 new cases of Covid-19 were detected across 16 districts. During the day 2 deaths were reported including 1 in East Singhbhum as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 924.

As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 2952 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,02,188. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 924.
