Jamshedpur, Aug 1: MBA Department of Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) on the auspicious month of Sawan celebrated “Barso Re-Sawan Gala” (Go Green Environment) in the campus on Monday.
Vice Chancellor Dr Anjila Gupta in presence of Registrar Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, Proctor Dr. Avinash Singh and CVC Dr. Annapurna Jha inaugurated the program.
Addressing the gathering, VC said that Sawan month tells us about the importance of environment and its conservation. She stated that there is need to restructure the courses according to industries demand. She stressed on the need for holistic education system for all-round of students.
At the event, MBA final semester students of 2020-22 batch were accorded warm farewell. VC along with students planted saplings.
Series of cultural events including Ganesh Vandana, Dance, tattoo art etc were organised.
The program was initiated by Dr Sweta Prasad and Dr Keya Banerjee, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, Jamshedpur Women’s University.
