Jamshedpur, Dec 31: A meeting of Jusco Shramik Union was convened on Friday. All committee members and office-bearers raised various issues, especially the issue of wage revision, pending since 31st December 2017.
Union president Raghunath Pandey said talks were on for wage revision. He however said that he was unable to give exact details of the wage revision expected to take place.
Several members said the wage revision will be held for a period of seven years with effect from 2017. They also said that the employees would also get arrears.
Pandey said it was his priority to get the grade revision done. He said other issues like LTC and bonus would also be discussed in detail. Suggestions of all office-bearers were heard.
Tata Steel Security’s diver Mazrul Bari was honoured by the Union for rescuing hundreds of people from drowning. Pandey said Bari was rendering his services for the last 25 years. Bari thanked Pandey for supporting and motivating him. Hassan Imam Mallik alias Chiku of Sports Department was also honoured on this occasion.
