Jamshedpur, Jan 25: A voters’ awareness workshop was organized at the district headquarters auditorium on the occasion of Voters Day here on Wednesday. Voters were administered oath to use their right to vote and strengthen the democracy. District officials were also administered oath to use their voting rights and make voters aware on their voting rights. Chief Election Commissioner and State Election Commissioner also joined the programme through video conferencing. New voters were given voter IDs and requested to participate in voting. Similar programmes were held at block and circle level.
