Jamshedpur Veterans T 20 Cricket Premier League begins March 24

Jamshedpur, Feb 6: On the pattern of Indian Premier League (IPL), Jamshedpur Veterans T 20 Cricket Premier League (JVCPL) will be conducted by Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club (JVSC) on 24 and 25 March, 2018 at Keenan Stadium.
According to a press communiqué issued by Avinash Kumar, Hon. Secretary, JVSC, the motive behind conducting the matches to involve ex-sportspersons with a motto to ‘Be Fit and Be Happy’.
The league is opened for ex-sportspersons above 40 years of age. The teams will be formed as per registration / interested players and each team will consist of 14 cricketers.
Four veterans’ teams will be part of the league. Match will be of 20 over’s each side and will be played on knock our basis. Match will be played in colour dress code and the last date of registration is 7th March 2018 with registration fees of Rs. 500/- per player for dress, prizes and balls.
Each player will be distributed as per lottery system basis. Distribution of players will be done on 11th March 2018 at 11.00 AM at Keenan Stadium in front of the nominated captains and registered players.
The players 40 years and above who had represented State, District and represented in Club Cricket League of Jamshedpur are allowed to participate in it. 56 players will be considered as per registration on first cum first basis.
