Jamshedpur: Two Jusco School students qualify JEE Advanced


Jamshedpur, Oct 17: Two students of Jusco School South Park excelled in the JEE Advanced whose results were declared on Friday, October 15.

Amit Kumar and Ayush  Kumar Dubey of current class 12 batch have been successful by getting IIT seats by clearing JEE Advanced exam.

Amit Kumar (18) secured All India Rank (AIR) 1330 and Ayush Kumar Dubey scored AIR 12374.  

JEE Advanced is conducted for undergraduate (UG) admission to institutes including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs).

Congratulating achievers, School principal Mili Sinha suggested other students to draw inspiration from the two and excel in academics.

She attributed the success of the students to sustained efforts of teachers of the institution.

Other students of Jamshedpur also registered stellar performance in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced. Vaibhav Seth of Jamshedpur emerged as the Kolhan topper with an All India Rank (AIR) of 291. Second position was bagged by Ayush Kumar (AIR 297). With AIR 431, Yash Kumar of Carmel Junior College, Sonari was third in the topper list from Jamshedpur.     

Notably the JEE Advance exam was conducted on October 3 and this year the criteria of having scored a minimum of 75 percent marks in class 12th exams was waived due to covid19 pandemic.
