Jamshedpur, Dec. 6: According to a notification issued by SER, 12767 Hazur Sahib Nanded-Santragachi Express via Tatanagar was cancelled today. Along with this 12768 Santragachi- Hazur Sahib Nanded Express via Tatanagar will remain cancelled on December 8, 12870 Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Express via Tatanagar will remain cancelled on December 10 and 12869 Mumbai CST- Howrah Express via Tatanagar will remain cancelled on December 12. The 22169 Rani Kamlapati (Habibganj)-Santragachi Express will remain cancelled on December 8. 22170 Santragachi-Rani Kamlapati (Habibganj) Express will remain cancelled on December 9.Apart from this, several trains will also be short terminated. 08861 Gondia-Jharsuguda Special will be short terminated at Bilaspur from December 6 to December 19. On the other hand 08862 Jharsuguda-Gondia Special will originate from Bilaspur between December 6 and December 10. The 12834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Express will run as a passenger train from Jharsuguda to Raigarh between December 6 and December 10.
The Tatanagar railway station is the only A1-category railway station under Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway ( SER). In view of the pandemic around a dozen trains pass through the station these days. The footfall of passengers had also come down drastically however, with reducing numbers of Covid cases, the footfall is increasing.
