Jamshedpur: Three year imprisonment for two shooters of gangster Akhilesh Singh

Jamshedpur, July 27: The court of First Class judicial magistrate of Jamshedpur Civil Court, Angela John sentenced  two shooters of notorious gangster Akhilesh Singh (currently lodged in Dumka jail) gang, Sonu Singh and Vinod Singh to  three years imprisonment and Rs 5000 fine. 
The hearing in the case was completed on March 26. Both the shooters are from Burmamines area and were involved in the shooting of Bagbera based transporter Upender Singh inside the Jamshedpur Court premises on November 2016 leading to his death at the spot. Both the accused were caught by the mob soon after the murder in the court premises and handed over to Sitaramdera thana after thrashing. Police had recovered pistol, cartridges and other items and had confessed of commiting the murder at the order of Akhilesh Singh and Harish Singh. 
The murder case hearing is currently against Akhilesh Singh, Harish Singh, Jasbir Singh, Sanjay Jojo and 10 others while Harish Singh is on bail in the case.
