Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy sarcastically thanked former Jamshedpur MP Shailendra Mahato for benefiting him with ‘Half Truth’ statements.
In a press release, Saryu said, “Shailendra Mahato ji had fiercely opposed me in the election of Jamshedpur East assembly constituency two years ago. I was greatly benefited by this. Whenever he speaks about me, I get the benefit of it. That’s why I never mind him speaking against me. Even today, I thank him for what he has said and hope that the anger in his mind will surely end tomorrow if not today. The situation will be understood by them.”
“Shailendra Mahto ji does not know that what have been my thoughts about Jharkhand becoming a separate state and moving forward for the state and what are they today, so what else can I do except express sympathy towards them. Let me tell them that my views on this are the same. His thoughts keep changing from morning to evening. Let me tell them that on several appropriate occasions I have expressed that I have no objection to the Khatian of 1932 for locality. My thoughts about this are well known since the time of Babulal ji, the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand. All I say is that along with this, the limits fixed by the constitution of the country will also be kept in mind, only then it can be implemented,” said Roy.
