Jamshedpur: Rs 5 lakh ransom sought from abducted trader’s family

Seraikela, December 10: After about two and a half months, a new twist has come in the case of kidnapping of 29-year-old Manish Aggarwal, that took place on September 23 from Kandra police station area. 
A case of demanding ransom of Rs 5 lakh from Devvrat Aggarwal alias Debu Aggarwal, the cloth trader and father of kidnapped Manish Aggarwal has surfaced. 

However, no official confirmation has been made by the Kandra police in this regard. But according to the information, on the basis of the complaint received, the Kandra police have detained two kidnappers, Amar Kumar Singh, resident of Telco of Jamshedpur and Santosh Kamat, resident of Jojobera, who demanded ransom in this case. And preparations are being made to send him to jail after interrogation.
.It is being told that in the event of the case being fake or true, a total of 10 people can be involved in this incident.  Continuous efforts were being made by the police to search for the missing businessman son Manish Aggarwal. On October 4, Health Minister Banna Gupta had also consoled Manish Aggarwal’s family members and soon a SIT was constituted for tracing the youth. 


The Kandra business class had also observed a one-day bandh and gherao the police station regarding the matter. The Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Seraikela Kharsawan and Chaibasa district had submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Deputy Commissioner and demanded that the missing Manish Agarwal be searched.
