Jamshedpur, Jan 1: City police is planning to lodge a fresh FIR against Mohammed Inam, a resident of Telco who had assisted wanted criminal Abdul Majeed Kutty, a close aide of notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim, during his stay in Jamshedpur.
Police are planning to lodge a case of forgery against Mohammed Inam who was on Friday sent to Ghaghidih jail after medical test.
During interrogation Mohammed Inam confessed that he had helped Abdul Majeed Kutty in making fake IDs and also helped him during police verification. He also informed that he did not know much about Abdul Majeed and met him in Malaysia.
Significantly, Abdul Majeed who had been staying in Jamshedpur under a false name was arrested by Gujarat ATS team with assistance of Jamshedpur police from Mango on Sunday last.
