Jamshedpur, Nov 2: District election officer-cum- Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar held a meeting with the electoral registration officers regarding the special revision of the voter list 2022.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the facility of Dial 1950 has been restored making the election work easy through digital medium, while there is also Garuda App and other digital facility whereany person can apply for voter card through online medium or do correction and name transfer.
He also said that the facility of dial 1950 is given to the voters about the voting awareness and necessary information and suggestions related to the election work.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that the special revision of the voter list is starting from the date of November 01, 2022, which will run till November 30, 2021. Under Revision 2022, Gram Sabha, Ward Sabha will be organized at village level, ward level of the district in which all BLOs and supervisors will be present. The voter list will be read out in the meeting and all the common citizens have to be made aware of this subject. Special campaign days will be celebrated on 20 November, 21 November, 27 November and 28 November. BLOs will receive Form-6, 7 and Form 8 on special campaign day.
