Jamshedpur, May 11: Members of Marwari Samaj met the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of East Singhbhum on Wednesday to seek arresting of Pradip Chudiwala and his family members for allegedly driving the Rourkela-based businessman, Rahul Agrawal, to commit suicide.
The community members stood with the photo of Rahul Agrawal, son-in-law of Pradip Chudiwala and husband of Varsha Agrawal, who recently jumped off a seven storied building in Bistupur after being allegedly tortured by his wife and in-laws. Nitesh Mittal, one of the community members, said the police could not arrest Chudiwala and family even after five days of the suicide incident. He further said that a delegation of Marwari community members would soon meet the state health minister Banna Gupta to demand speedy police action against the Chudiwalas.
