Jamshedpur: City girl Nandani Tiwary is winning hearts with her role as ‘Vaayu Pari’ in ‘Baalveer Returns’ being screened on SAB TV. She is playing one of the most important characters in ‘Baalveer Returns’. Nandani as Vaayu Pari, a fairy of Pari Lok with the power of the wind (Wind Fairy) is winning hearts all over.
“I started my career as winner of Miss India International Jharkhand Winner 2018. After which, I moved to Mumbai. I underwent acting training from professional trainers and luck struck on me when I bagged TV serials and webseries,” said the former student of DBMS English School.
She showcased her talent as ‘Vaayu Pari’ in Baalveer Returns on SAB TV. The serial is one of the most watched television shows. Her performance has helped her to gain a wide fan base.
She also acted in ‘Madam Sir’ on SAB TV. She has starred in Web series Hex Eye Short. The icing on the cake was when she played the lead lady in B Praak’s cover song ‘Jannat’. She also acted in ‘Kahaan Hum Kahan Tum’ serial screened on Star Plus.
She is also making her debut in a Bollywood movie produced under Yashraj Films banner. “ It is like a dream come true to bag a role in Yashraj Films banner. I am playing a key role in the movie. Though I cannot reveal details of the movie due to contract agreements, I can only say that the movie has already been shot and is expected to be released this year,” said Nandani, a resident of Telco.
“My journey in Mumbai has been a roller coaster ride. After a series of auditions, I was lucky enough to bag the role in the movie. The movie is releasing this year and I am confident that people will like it,” said Nandani.
She said that she always wanted to be in front of the camera and this triggered passion in her to perform.
“I have had my share of struggle in the city of dreams. Being a non-filmy background was a challenge but I believed in my dreams. I took in several rounds of auditions. Standing in line, I could see much prettier girls than me trying their luck but this didn’t deter my spirit. I gave my best and bagged the role,” recollected Nandani.
“ I am really satisfied with the way things have moved. Father Sushil Tiwary, an employee of Tata Motors and mother Nirmala Devi have been very supportive and would like to explore more into acting,” she said.
When questioned about the role her hometown played in her career, she said: “ I owe my success to my parents who always supported me. I think we have that initial training on how to carry ourselves, how to speak, and how to handle the media glare- this entire works to our advantage. The journey is tough and challenging and it’s just beginning. But I am enjoying myself very much.”
