Jamshedpur, June 23: Three Jharkhand police officers including DSP (CCR) Animesh Gupta have been selected for the Distinguished Police Service Medal. DSP Headquarters Chaibasa, Sudhir Kumar, and Jharkhand Jaguar Inspector Shankar Kamti are the other two officers. All three are 1994 batch officers. The medal is given to police officers having completed 25 years of service. Very few officers are selected for this honour. A top level committee of Home Ministry selects the medalists.
