Jamshedpur: A meeting of the District Health Committee was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar at Collectorate Auditorium, Jamshedpur. In the meeting, fire safety NOC in government buildings, private and commercial buildings was discussed with the officials of the fire department and necessary guidelines were given.
Civil Surgeon AK Lal informed that Sadar Hospital, Jamshedpur has sent an estimate of Rs 85 lakh to the State Government. Remaining health institutions are not able to apply due to lack of building maps. After Kusum Devi’s sterilization on 21.09.2019 which was unsuccessful, a compensation of 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand) was given to Kusum Devi on her application.
MoU has been signed with PHSI, Dhanbad for sterilization for 5 years which is to be reviewed by the DISC committee once in a year. Equal evaluation of 40 government health institutions has been sent by East Singhbhum district to the state headquarters, external evaluation is proposed in February. Four health institutions PHC Manusmuria, HWC Birsanagar, HWC Kesarpur and Amainagar have been targeted for NQAS.
Civil Surgeon Dr. AK Lal, DRCHO Dr. Jujhar Manjhi, ACMO Dr. Sahir Pal, Fire Department officials, WHO representatives and others were present in the meeting.
