Become good human beings: Principal Pragya Singh to outgoing batch

Jamshedpur, April 20: DAV Public School Bistupur bid fond farewell to the outgoing batch of class XII (session 2021- 2022) during function organised in the school premises on Monday.

Best scholars from the outgoing batch were awarded followed by the much awaited questionnaire round based on which the coveted titles of Master DAV and Miss DAV were decided. Perhaps the most exciting part of a farewell ceremony is assigning these titles.

After the declaration of results, different tags were awarded to the students. Title of Master DAV and Miss DAV were won by Rajneesh Tiwari of XII A3 and Ishita Paul of XII A5 respectively.

School Principal Pragya Singh blessed the students with her motivational speech. She urged the students to become good human beings and wished them luck for their forthcoming board exams.

“Irrespective of winning or not winning the title, each and every student is a Prince and Princess and I wish you become promising future world leaders,” Principal stated.

Earlier, the inauguration was followed by scintillating welcome dance by the students. The students of Class XI put up a number of cultural programmes to create and pep up the mood. The performance included a skit, PPT by students of Class XII, 2022 batch and a western dance.

DAV Bistupur’s COVID warrior alumni, Dr. Rashmi Singh and Dr. Rohit Chakraborty who are working at TMH Jamshedpur were honoured by the Principal. The programme continued with the school band performing a string of popular movie songs and had everybody tapping along to the catchy scores.

There was also a video blessing by the class teachers of the outgoing batch to wish their students good luck for the future.

Swarna Jha of class XII A5 extended the vote of thanks.
