Jamshedpur, September 12: Criminals fired in the air outside a water plant located at Gerua village near Dimna Dam under Bodam police station area of Patmada before fleeing away.
An FIR has been registered at Bodam police station on the complaint of Prabhakar Sahu, a resident of Ulidih Sharma Line of Mango regarding this matter.
Prabhakar Sahu who operates the water plant has in the complaint informed that on September 10, three bike-borne criminals came and asked their guards to open the door. The guard said the owner lived outside. After this, all three got out and after taking out the pistol fired in the air and escaped.
According to Bodam police station in-charge Shankar Lakra, firing has been done regarding extortion. At present the police is investigating the matter. It is worth noting that earlier in Azadnagar, Mango, three bike-borne criminals had opened fire near the shopping mall on Friday. An FIR has been registered against three unidentified persons. After this incident, criminals fired at Manmohan Agarwal’s house in Golmuri. Two mobiles were robbed.
