Jamshedpur, Feb 3: A delegation of members of East Singhbhum district Congress committee led by president Anand Bihari Dubey and executive president Dharmendra Sonkar inspected Jugsalai railway level crossing on Friday. Dubey spoke to the Railway Area Manager of Tatanagar over phone and informed him about the plight of pedestrians who had to walk through the almost one mile long railway over-bridge to cross over to the other side of the railway crossing. He said the DRM of Chakradharpur Railway Division had convened a meeting in the evening to discuss the issue. He said the Congress had given 72 hours time to the Railways to resolve the issue after which the party workers would gherao the DRM office. Congress has demanded construction of a foot over bridge (FOB) at Jugsalai railway level crossing.
