Jamshedpur, May 26: Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress General Secretary Rakesh Sahu said that the eight-year journey of the BJP government at the Center will be completed on May 28 and while stepping into its ninth year, the achievements will be highlighted and praised by the entire BJP fraternity.

Rakesh, in a press communiqué mentioned that Congress as a responsible and vigilant opposition considered it necessary to mirror the deeds to the BJP led government at the Centre. The Youth Congress leader Rakesh Sahu, taking a swipe at the central government led by BJP stated in the release, “In the last eight years, the biggest achievement of the BJP government at the Center has been that it has misused the central agencies repeatedly with the intent to overthrow the democratically elected non-BJP governments in the states.”

The State Youth Congress General Secretary ticked off the Congress Party’s boxes against the BJP led central government when he mentioned that all plans for development of Adivasi and Dalit communities were scrapped by the central government. “Their reservation and pro-Dalit laws are being attacked. Reservation of Dalits and backwards is being abolished by selling government undertakings to private players. The unemployment rate in the country is more than eight percent. The Government of India, Government Undertakings and Provincial Governments together have more than 30 lakh posts lying vacant.  There are 2.55 lakh posts vacant in the defence services. Far from the centre’s promise of providing two crore jobs annually, crores of jobs were lost. These and more are the achievements of the BJP government at the Centre.”
