Jamshedpur: Bonus agreement at Tata Steel Long Products

Jamshedpur, September 25: Tata Steel Long Products (formerly Usha Martin), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel, signed a bonus agreement on Saturday. 
Employees will get 13 percent bonus for the financial year 2020-21. In which maximum Rs 37,919, minimum Rs 24,954 and average Rs 31,558 will be paid to the employees by the end of this month. 
Despite Covid-19 impact on the company, the union managed to make 4.47 percent more bonus than the previous year.
Last time 8.53 per cent bonus was given in the company, whereas this year due to the efforts of union leadership, employees will get 13 per cent bonus. The company management will give a bonus of Rs 2.66 crore to 853 employees. The bonus agreement was signed on behalf of the company management by Ashish Anupam, Managing Director of Tata Steel Long Products, Sanjay Srivastava, Devashish Majumdar, chief HR IR Mukesh Agarwal, head HR Devi Prasad Panthala and Atul Sharma.
On behalf of the union, Tata Kamgar Union President BK Dinda, union advisor Vijay Khan, working president Rajkumar Pradhan, general secretary Ajay Das, Laxman Sahu, Luv Kumar, treasurer Subhash Chandra Das signed the same.
