Jamshedpur, June 19: Social organisation, organised a blood donation camp at Red Cross Society bhawan on Sunday with 1206 blood donors participating in it. A total of 3100 saplings were distributed for the purpose of environmental protection.
Chief guest Union Minister Arjun Munda, special guest MP Bidhyut Baran Mahto, MLA Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy, social worker Meera Munda, Labour leader Rakeshwar Pandey jointly inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. The programme was presided over by the chief patron of the institution, Amarpreet Singh Kale.
On the said occasion, the Munda while encouraging the young blood donors said that today the participation of hundreds of young blood donors is enough to ensure that these youths are prepared to fight the challenges of the society. There are experiences when hundreds of youth are involved who are donating blood for the first time today. These are examples for the future generation who are committed to fulfill their responsibilities towards the society by keeping themselves away from drugs.
Mahto said that blood donation is a great donation, someone’s life can be saved by your blood donation, Arpan family has been doing this work successfully for the last 7 years, my best wishes are with the Arpan family.
In his address, Saryu Roy said that blood is the root of creation of life and self-realization of youth is a part of that chain with such commitment that no one should die due to lack of blood.
Meera Munda said on the participation of women that today even half the population is discharging their responsibility here with ease.
Amarpreet Singh Kale while expressing gratitude said that we are feeling proud of ourselves by working towards achieving many goals simultaneously. By remembering them, they are able to ignite the spirit of patriotism by connecting the thinking of the youth with their lifestyle, on the other hand, through blood donation and drug de-addiction campaign among the youth, they are also able to give dimension to the holy goal of fasting for the service of the nation. Not only this, while imbibing the concern of the future, we are presenting about 3100 trees to the blood donors and guests, so that a holy initiative can be started for the protection of the environment.
