Jamshedpur, Sep 14: The two-day 17th ASISC Inter School Regional Basketball Tournament hosted by Little Flower School at their school campus came to a close today as the teams from Jamshedpur came out the overall winners of the contest.
Teams from five zones participated in the tournament including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Bhagalpur and Deoghar.
The competition was held under four categories- in Junior Boys group Jamshedpur was the winner while Bhagalpur was the runners up.
In Junior Girls group Jamshedpur came first while girls from Dhanbad came second.
In the senior boys category Ranchi had the better luck while the boys from Jamshedpur had to contain with the runners up trophy.
In the senior girls group again Jamshedpur were the winners were Ranchi girls faltered to the second position.
The best disciplined team in the tournament was the team from Ranchi.
At the closing ceremony on Saturday Vijay Singh a well wisher of the school gave away the trophies to the winners.
