Jamshedpur, May 22: An App has been prepared by the Jharkhand government’s Department of Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs for better monitoring of the Chief Minister’s Daal-Bhaat Yojana (lentil and rice project) and to make the scheme more beneficial for people who take food under the scheme at Daal-Bhaat centres in the district. The App, when installed, will enable authorities to contact such people for information purposes.
District Supply Officer (DSO), Rajiv Ranjan, held a meeting with the operators of the Daal-Bhaat centers and gave necessary directives for training and installation of the App vide which better monitoring of the scheme would be ensured. The DSO informed that the new technique would be implemented from 01.06.2022.
DSO Rajiv Ranjan informed during the meeting that the operation through the App prepared by the Department was to be implemented by the 16 Daal-Bhaat Center operators of the block and division areas of the district. He said that the App provided by the Department should be installed in the smart phone followed by logging in through the User ID and password provided by the Supply Office and the desired data such as ID of the beneficiary (Voter card, Aadhaar Card, Labor Card, Bank Passbook and MNREGA Card) and uploading the photo of the beneficiary. The District Supply Office personnel and all Daal-Bhaat Center operators of the district participated in the meeting.
