Jamshedpur, Nov 22: The Institute of Project and Engineering ( IPE) has decided to come up with a one-year entrepreneurship programme on December 3 that will impart skills of entrepreneur lessons among school students.
Students from 11 years to 25 years studying in schools and colleges of different states of the country as well as professionals will be able to participate. In the certificate programme of 200 hours duration, former officers of Tata Steel as well as representatives of many other leading companies of the country will train the students in all the skills they need during their student days so that they become job creators instead of job seekers in future.
On this occasion, national president of IPE R R Jha informed the reporters that Jharkhand has the highest mineral wealth of the country. But despite this, according to the report of NITI Aayog, Jharkhand is second from the bottom on the scale of development, while Bihar is at the last rank. He said that while there is a change in technology every six months, every 10 years everything in the world is changing rapidly. But at this pace, human resources are not becoming skilled, this is the reason why most of the engineers are not getting placement even after studying not only in Jharkhand-Bihar but also in many prestigious engineering colleges of the country, because they are out of place.
Vice President Dr SK Singh said that during this course, the students would be given information about the industry mainly related to making useful products by recycling waste materials, digital literacy as well as important information related to the industry related to rural economy and development. In this, the students will be given leadership, soft skills, personality development, ethics management as well as technical information necessary for the relevant industry.
Jha said that the course duration of the Entrepreneurship Programme is one year. During this, a total of 200 hours of training will be given. After this a certificate will also be given to the participants. The course fee has been fixed at Rs 25,000.
