Jamshedpur, Dec. 14: Sports Dept. Tata Steel is conducting Inter JDC Volleyball Tournament” from 14th to 18th December 2015 at Volleyball Court, JRD Tata Sports Complex.
32 JDC’s Unit team out of 34 JDC Units of Tata Steel is participating in it. Match will be played on Knock out basis. Advisory Committee, Dharmendra Upadhaya, Asst Secy (TWU), Mr. Bagicha Singh, were present. B K Dinda, Genl Secy and Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary (Tunnu), Dy. President also visited during the matches of the tournament.
On the first day of the tournament: Equipment Maintenance beat F&A/Engg/ Design Cell by 25 – 15 & 25 – 16, L D 2 & SC beat Lime Plant by 25 – 07 & 25 � 08, Mechanical Maintenance beat TMH by 25 – 20 & 25 � 19, Coke Plant beat RMM by 25 -07 & 25 � 08 while New Bar Mill beat WRM by 25 – 15 & 25 – 16,
Referees were- R K Mishra, R K Gupta, Balwinder Singh, Kamaljeet Singh, Amrick Singh, J A Murty, Hareram, P Vijay Kumar, Saurav and Giri conducted all the matches.
