Inner Wheel Clubs to start �Happy School�

Jamshedpur, July 14: The Inner Wheel District 325 organized a literacy workshop at Super Centre in Sakchi. The workshop was presided over by group president Mrs. Aruna Taneja & it saw the participation of over 150 members from the district 325 group.

During the workshop the inner wheel members together vowed & marked the path for complete literacy & quality education in every corner of the country.

The TEACH programme also aimed to that every child in India must go to school, every school must be a �Happy School�, each & every teacher of the schools must be properly trained & regularly be updated by modern technological knowledge, all students should be provided with the required materials for practical, writing & studying as a part of their curriculum, each deprived and under privileged child must be given equal opportunity as that of the rich & affluent ones, every young citizen must be educated and must join the main stream society to earn his living and every young & child whom we help must be able to steer the future of themselves & the country with confidence.

The objective of this session was to throw light into the plans & motive of 325 Inner wheel clubs to its organizers.

The participants who came from 30 different cities were filled with zeal throughout the event. They pledged to start up �Happy School� initially. President Mrs. Taneja requested each club to at least construct a toilet in their respective areas.

The workshop saw participants who hailed from the district 325 groups of Bihar & Jharkhand. Vice Chairman Rotary India Literacy Mission & Rotary India Public Image Coordinator Kamal Sanghvi of Dhanbad was the chief guest for the event. Mrs. Sarita Lunani, the Zonal Literacy co-ordinator from Elluru was the guest of honour.

The spokesperson of District Literacy Committee Chair Dr. Rakesh Prasad came all the way from Patna. From Giridih Mrs. Prabha Raghunath, vice-president of Inner wheel association marked her presence. The event also saw Dr. (Mrs.) Nina Kumar of Patna, representing Inner wheel district literacy chair.
