Inner Wheel Club organises debate contest for students

Jamshedpur, Oct. 4: As part of the Wildlife Week celebration, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest along with Tata steel Zoological Park Society organised an inter-school debate competition in Hindi and English at the Nature Education Centre, Tata Zoological Park. A total of 25 schools comprising 80 students took part in it.

The topic for debate was Is Ecotourism is part of conservation?. Harpreet Marwah principal of Kidzee School and Mrs Nibha Mishra secretary of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West were the judges for the event.

Navneet Kaur, president, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest emphasised on the importance of wildlife conservation. “Kids are the most important aspects of understanding the means and purposes of celebrating the Wild Life Week. In this way we would be able to change the entire human mind towards the wild life conservation one day.”

Winners for English debate were Kamini kumari from NTTF, Jigyasa Vidya from Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Rahul Dubey Shri Krishna Public School and Aanchal Dev Shiksha Niketa, Winners of Hindi debate competition were Hritik from RVS Academy, Shivangam Pandey from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sidhi from St.Mary Hindi School and Shubham Tiwary from Tata Steel Technical Institute.
