Jamshedpur: A case of fraudulently marrying a woman and attempting to sell her has come to the fore. In this regard, the woman has lodged a complaint with Golmuri police station, but with no action, she reached the SSP office on Saturday and pleaded for justice. The woman said that if she does not get justice, she will commit suicide here.
According to the information, Shilpa Kumari, a resident of Tuylandugri under Golmuri, was married in March 2018 to Ritesh Ojha, son of Rameshwar Ojha, a resident of Baridih. At the time of marriage Ritesh’s family had said that he is working in a good company in Hyderabad. Shilpa said that when the marriage was finalized, Ritesh, his elder brother and parents demanded Rs 10 lakh from his father, but his father gave a total of 8 lakh rupees from time to time by not paying a lump sum and the arrears said to give 2 lakh rupees later. Shilpa said that after marriage, her in-laws started harassing her. Her husband Ritesh took her to Hyderabad and also tried to sell her there. Not only this, for her promotion, her husband also pressured her to form a physical relationship with the boss and friends. Not only this, Shilpa alleged that her husband used to send obscene messages on her mobile to her friends, due to which she was in a lot of trouble.
