Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar on Thursday advised JMM executive president Hemant Soren to organize a Sangharsh Yatra to seek a probe into land scams in which the former CM is allegedly involved.
Kumar accused the JMM president and other JMM leaders of having cheated on the people of Jharkhand. He said the former CM had purchased land worth several crores belonging to poor Adivasis through fraud. He said the JMM had always wanted the Adivasis and poor people to remain backward so that the party may remain relevant in politics.
The BJP president said the Raghubar Das led state government had chalked out many development-oriented projects in Jharkhand. Majority of the projects and welfare schemes are based on Antyodaya, he said.
Kumar said the district JMM president was accused of misbehaving with women after collaborating with animal traffickers. He said the JMM president should first sideline such elements from the party and then talk about public welfare. He said Hemant Soren should apologize to the women assaulted by the district JMM president.
