Jamshedpur, Sept 13: Leader of the Opposition cum former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, who reached Jamshedpur on Monday to participate in the district convention, district working committee and organization meeting of BJP Scheduled Tribes Morcha, held a meeting with the district office bearers and block presidents. In the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, Babulal Marandi, while discussing organization issues, reviewed party activities in the Mahanagar domain in the course of which he also made queries from Mandal presidents on implementation of scheduled BJP programmes and their follow-up.
The BJP leader said, “Be ready for agitation. Garner support and mass participation at panchayat levels. Party workers and supporters should actively participate in the panchayat elections at every level.” After the meeting, Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly Babulal Marandi, MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, former MP Abha Mahto, former MLA Menka Sardar, former MLA cum spokesperson Kunal Sarangi, state secretary cum district in-charge Subodh Singh Guddu, state secretary Rita Mishra, former state spokesperson Rajesh Shukla, former district president Dinesh Kumar held discussions with Zila Parishad members, BJP State Working Committee members and state office bearers of the party’s ST Morcha.
Earlier on his arrival in Jamshedpur on Monday afternoon, BJP workers gave Babulal Marandi a rousing welcome with traditional drums and enthusiastic slogans at various points along the road to the venue.
